INLAND TRANSPORTATION
Due to their strategic location, Tema and Takoradi Ports are the natural hubs to serve neighbouring as well as landlocked countries in West Africa; Tema for Niger and Burkina Faso, and Takoradi for Mali and Burkina Faso.
We offer a variety of service solutions to meet all our clients’ inland transportation needs whether they are project related, full containers or LCL. These services include:
- A one stop road freight solution to Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso, including handling all border clearance formalities as required.
- In country haulage solutions for goods destined for inland Ghana
- Three days a week OMA operates a regional road shuttle for Airfreight and LCL clients with goods arriving at Kotoka airport or Tema port. The shuttle transfers smaller shipments quickly and efficiently between Tema/Accra/Takoradi and Tarkwa/ Bogosu / Obuasi. Our partner subcontractors offer long haul solutions within Ghana, and to and from Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger.
