CASE STUDY
T2 THERMAL PLANT
The Takoradi International Company, which owns and operates the Takoradi 2 power plant, sought financing to convert and expand the plant to allow it to run on both natural gas and light crude oil using technology that would increase capacity by 50 percent without using additional fuel OMA Logistics Ghana transported two giant motor stools boxed in huge cases measuring 3.6m x 3.6 m x 5.1m to the T2 Thermal plant at Aboadze near Takoradi.
The height of the cases meant that detailed planning was required, both for the discharge operation from the vessel and for the onward transport from Takoradi port to site. Thanks to OMA’s dedicated and experienced team, the boxes were delivered on time and without major hitches.
