We use our ISO integrated management systems as the basis for our workflow and this also ensures that any subcontractors match our own demanding standards. The overall aim is to ensure consistency in the quality of our service and the prevention of harm to people or the environment.

OMA Ghana believes its main resource is its staff. We carry out an annual training needs analysis for all staff with particular attention to HSSE and a training plan is in place for each employee overseen and co-ordinated by the HR Manager.

OMA Ghana prides itself in working in a safe and conducive environment as such risk assessments are carried out by the relevant department for all major operations; these are then reviewed by the QHSSE team for implementation. risks shall be assessed according to their probability, consequence as per risk matrix, this is weighed.

OMA Ghana was awarded the HSEQ award at the 2018 Ghana Shippers Awards which recognises excellence and innovation from local and international companies operating in the Ghanaian shipping sector.
